Maddie started with dogs as soon as she turned 18. Always growing up with pet dogs, she wanted something more. She started volunteering with a local German Shepherd rescue and from there had the opportunity to shadow a trainer for a year and a half. From there, Maddie moved to working with a company that specializes in police and working K9s and severe behavior modifications. Maddie specialized in working a detection dog for a few years along with continuing to train pet dogs. She competed on America‘a Top Dog in 2021 with her dog, Hexxer, who is a certified and active Conservation Detection Dog.
Board and Train packages are available for 3, 4, 6 and 8 week packages. Maddie takes up to 4 dogs at a time so each dog gets plenty of individual time to train daily. Board and Trainees are worked anywhere from 3-5 times each day, live in home with Maddie and get to participate in various different kinds of field trips tailored to each dogs training goals. 3 week packages are geared towards dogs that need help with basic obedience and off leash reliability. 4 week packages are the most ideal for owners looking for advanced obedience or mild behavior modification such as some reactivity or confidence building. 6 and 8 week packages are for dogs with more severe behavior modification needs, severe reactivity, and separation anxiety.
Small, group style, personalized board and trains done exposing the dog to real life situations. Dogs get to enjoy the comfort of individual indoor crates, play time, walks and personalized one on one time instead of staying at a facility. Located in Auburn, CA we service all of Placer and Sacramento Counties, expanding into the North Bay Area and Northern Central Valley.
